| I'm currently at work...done working..just waiting for my mom to finish working so that I can start fighting traffic from Irvine to Downey...to then quickly change clothes and go to the gym....
Anywho..as the title states I'm feeling rather discouraged. I'm pissed off with the whole education situation...I really can't stand my current job. It's easy...but I wish I were getting paid more. Right now, the only way I can make ends meet is to use my credit cards. Of course...I'm getting really close (if not already there) to my credit card limits....so I've realized that the only way to make ends meet is to obtain a second job. I also need to look at my finances and figure out where I can cut corners.
Once all that is done :) and I have no more credit card debts :) I can focus on saving :) Technically...I need to do that for both. This year has been one expensive year though. Weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette's.....not that I'm complaining b/c I'm really happy for my friends :D and I wish them much happiness...but....my finances have definitely taken a beating ...so..now I really need to get it back together.
So.....at work...I'm job hunting....I think I also need to start looking into a part time job...maybe with the city? mall? Hopefully I can find something....but...we'll see :) so...basically...I won't have any free time....but...I figure it's worth it to have peace of mind :)
On another thought...I really need to organize my room...it's getting to the point that I can't stand being in there >:[ However...the only way to organize that evil room is by spending additional money for organizational items >:P sucks :P ok...so...goals for the next few months...
1) Pay off all 3 credit cards 2) Save money 3) Clean/organize room 4) Clean/organize rest of my teaching materials 5) Obtain new job or additional part time job 6) Figure out where I can save money or cut corners 7) No more shopping for me (unless it's for bday presents, x-mas presents or any other special ocassion reasons) 8) Focus on cheap trips
And...I'll add to the list as I go :)

| Absolute Boyfriend is the name of this manga that I started reading randomly one day during summer vacation while online. Needless to say I got hooked on it and put it on my wish list for my bday and for x-mas. In the end, my brother bought all six volumes for me (and after a lot of trouble on his part) they arrived after x-mas. I finally read them.....and I managed to read all of the novels in one day.
I cried....
I cried like an idiot at the end of the story =(
I can't really write what the story is about...in case someone out there wanted to read the manga...but me (someone who enjoys romantic comedies) enjoyed it =)
So...after a shitty day at work (all due to the evil witch who works with me ....two faced....evil person)...I feel better after reading my manga =) Now....I just have to catch up on my Chibi Vampire and Fruits Basket....I have no idea what I'll read afteer those mangas are completely finished....but I'm sure I'll find something else =)

| Me =) muahahahahahaha >=) and Paddington Bear as well...since it turns out that today is also his birthday and he turns 50 years old today =) When my brother went to Germany for work he bought me a Paddington Bear =)
As for my birthday...I had a wonderful time Saturday night =) Ben, Dan, Julie, David and I went to Green Field (Brazilian Churracaria) where we proceeded to stuff our faces with lots and lots of meat (that so does not sound right =P ) Ben planned things out for my bday =) and I'll have to go more into detail later....but currently can't since I'm at work =)
Okay...I'll post later =) At a more opportune time =) but before I go ...

| However...it's not a teaching job....it's actually at Toshiba where my mom also works.....
Today my mom woke me up with her phone call telling me to go on line and to email her my resume b/c her manager was asking if I had found a job yet or not....so...I emailed her my resume....an hour later my mom calls and tells me to come to the office by 12 p.m. to fill out an application....so...i jumped in the shower and rummaged through my room for some office attire to wear (haven't wore that type of clothing in years!!!)
Once I was ready I drove all the way to Irvine and when I got there my mom came out and took me to the office. I then was introduced to a few of her co-workers and was eventually taken to the HR supervisor to fill out the application. Well....little did I know that I was not only filling out the application, but also the W2 form as well as papers saying that I was receiving my work handbooks....once all of that was completed....I was told I would start tomorrow. So....there I am...wondering what the hell is going on...b/c as far as I can tell...I never interviewed.....yup...completely flabbergasted (is that the right word?). Well....I was then given directions to the clinic for my drug testing =) (gotta make sure I'm clean =) ::crosses fingers::) and then I had to get my badge as well as my car decal thingie so that I could park in their parking lot w/o fear that my car would be towed away.
Afterwards...my mom and I left to have lunch (by then it was 2 p.m.) and I still had no idea what I was going to be doing nor how much I would be making. Basically I'm on a trial period and eventually I'll be hired on if it's what I want and what they want.......so..we'll see. I can probably work there until the teaching situation improves =) Or...until I find something else =) During lunch my mom and I talked about what happened.....(she still couldn't believe it...b/c they had only told her to tell me to come in to just do the app....not that I was hired on w/o even being seen =P ) and we both told my dad and then I called Ben to tell him. When we got back to the office, I went to the HR supervisor again and asked her about the salary and the position, since I still had no idea....Well...the amount I'll be getting paid is good and the position is "Employee Administrator." =) Muahahahaha >=) Turns out the person I'm replacing is the Team Leader......hmm......I'm going to have to kick butt tomorrow on my first day and make sure I learn everything I need to =P Since I'm going to be doing export and not import which is what I'm used to doing.
Well....since I had to do fill out all the stuff for the job.....I had to locate my social security card...however....no luck >=P So...now I have to see if I can have some time during the week to go and get a new replacement card....b/c...I figure it's probably easier to get a new card...then to try and figure out where it was I last put that blasted card >=P sigh....
So...tomorrow....first day of new job......

| Arrived in Duluth, Georgia on July 26th and left on August 10th. Needless to say....I highly doubt I'll ever be going back there again....if I do...it may only be for a week....
I went there with Ben and my niece Katherine to visit my cousin and her family. The primary reason being that my nieces Karen and Joanna were homesick and wanted family to visit. Well, I can easily see why they're so homesick. Once you live in CA....especially Southern CA it's really hard to get used to life in Duluth. There's nothing there....hardly any variety in food either. Only places to go are Wal*mart (went there twice), Target (went there tons of times), JoAnn's (went there twice), Circuit City (went there once), Best Buy (went there once), Kroger's (Ralph's and went there a number of times as well) and of course the World of Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.
Ben, my nieces and I aquainted ourselves a lot with our nintendo DS's =) Since that was the main source of entertainment. My nieces also worked on their scrapbook of pictures that we took while we were there. (Makes me want to make one myself now) The World of Coca Cola was fun since we got to taste 64 different kinds of sodas =) (muahahahahaha >=)) and the Aquarium was nice =) I took a ton of pictures....as well as a video of the "retarded" penguin =) Though...I have a feeling this penguin kept swimming up and down in front of the glass because people where there to watch him =) Also ate at a Korean BBQ over there....which was very authentic and luckily Ben went with me or else I wouldn't have known what to do. All in all it was a relaxing time that was spent with family; however, it was also very boring =P
One more thing about the trip...ever heard about women's periods synchronizing? Soooo very true....four out of the five women there had our curse hit....needless to say my cousin's husband stayed out of the way, Spot (the dog) was smart and behaved himself and Ben had to be careful of our lots of moods =) (Thanks Bunnie! =))
On other news....the job hunt still goes....and still nothing in sight....I don't know if I'm going to be able to find anything .....which is rather depressing. It makes me wonder if I should even stick with teaching...or just find something else to do.....or go back to school??? Maybe....we'll see....there are a few classes I would love to take just for fun....but...we'll see =)
On 8/14 it was Dan's birthday and so Ben and I headed over there to celebrate it with him, Art and Phill as well =) (Yup...that's right...me and five guys.....be jealous...=) j/k) I got Dan a book he's had on his wish list for quite some time, while Ben and Phill just so happened to get Dan the same anime. (You'll have to get the receipt from Phill....Ben threw the bag way....he looked for the receipt =) ) Art got him a game for his XBOX =) Before Phill got there, Dan, Ben, Art and I indulged in the chocolate cake that Dan's mom had made for him for his birthday =) (it was veryyyyy yummie =) ) Once Phill got there and the presents were opened we hopped into Dan's car (yea i know....very mean of us to have the birthday boy drive....but his car was the biggest one.....I had shotgun =)) and drove to Del Amo and ended up eating at BJ's =) Where we indulged in yummie food, pizookies (Ben and I took a few bites from Dan's)....and Dan and I ended up taking tons of pictures =) So many that we had a few offers of people willing to take pictures of the group for us =) It was a nice time =)
I ended up hanging out with Julie and Peggy on Saturday....we met up at Sam Woo's and had lunch there and chatted about everything that's been taking place. After that we drove to Peggy's house where her dog, Jojo, loved me and molested me with her tongue =P =) However, I forgive her since she is such a cute little Yorkshire Terrier =) We then went to Mochilato (located in Fullerton) and had shaved ice (it was soooo good....I want to go there again =)) We then went to Old Navy, Office Max and then back to Peggy's place where we took pics of Jojo and of Jojo molesting me >=P
I know I'm forgetting lots of stuff... but.....I probably won't write about it =) so....tough =) I also know everything is disjointed and there are hardly any transitions....but....meh =P
